I've never believed choosing original art should feel intimidating.

It should feel thoughtful.

Every home is different.

Every collector is different.

Every painting is different.

That's why I enjoy helping people slow down, ask questions, and discover which work genuinely belongs in their space rather than simply choosing what seems most obvious.

For me, consulting isn't about persuading someone to acquire a painting.

It's about helping them see more clearly.

Sometimes the right painting becomes immediately apparent.

Sometimes the most important outcome is realizing it isn't the right time yet.

I'm comfortable with either result.

Finding the right painting has always mattered more to me than selling one.

One of the things I've learned over the years is that choosing a painting isn't really about choosing a painting.

I think all of those responses are worth trusting.

I've never believed my role is to convince someone which painting they should choose.

My role is to help them see more clearly.

Sometimes that means discussing scale.

Sometimes it means talking about architecture, light, or how a room is actually used every day.

Sometimes it simply means giving someone permission to slow down.

The best decisions are rarely the fastest ones.

They're the ones that continue feeling right long after they've been made.

I think original art deserves that kind of patience.

So do the people who choose to live with it.

Not at all.

Both are wonderful places to begin.

What I won't do is make the decision for you.
